I am a proud MIT Media Lab graduate with many years of experience of having both operational and strategic roles at digital companies and startups such as Bonnier R&D, Stardoll, Nokia and Toca Boca.
Since March 2014, I am running my own business as a freelancing consultant within digital communication, marketing and strategy. I love helping new companies launch and grow, and support more established companies with developing digital business models and find new revenue streams and customers.
I am a proud Geek Girl and feminist, and work actively on engaging more women in tech and startups, both when it comes to education and job opportunities. I want to see more young girls and women strive for both hands on programming roles and high c-suite positions within tech and web companies.
Most of all, I love working with and for people and consumers and I find it extremely intriguing to try to understand peoples' tech, media and web behavior and preferences. I enjoy all aspects of communication, from mingling in smaller groups, to talks in front of 500 people, to public relations and online consumer relations. I like being challenged and am particularly good at understanding other peoples' point of view and use that as a foundation for achieving great customer support, PR and communication in general. I am a social and outgoing person who enjoys building relationships and help others connect.
